The program is part of the health unit’s Resources, Research, Evaluation and Development (RRED) Division. The PHRED Program is the “research and development” arm of public health.
Our multidisciplinary team is affiliated with Laurentian University and conducts applied research and program evaluations that lead to effective and innovative public health programs and services. PHRED also promotes educational opportunities for future public health professionals.
PHRED activities are carried out at the local, regional or provincial level and completed in collaboration with other PHRED sites, program staff, academic institutions, local partners, and the Ministries of Health and Long-Term Care and Health Promotion. Our funding and mandate are presently 50 per cent provincial and 50 per cent municipal. As such, this program undertakes both local and provincial projects.
Visit the Provincial PHRED Program website for more information on PHRED Program research activities and resources. | Events < May 2012 >| S | M | T | W | T | F | S |
