Tuesday, August 14, 2012

The Sudbury & District Health Unit has removed the warning signs that advised against swimming at the following beaches:

  • Camp Sudaca Beach, City of Greater Sudbury
  • Capreol Beach, City of Greater Sudbury

The most recent water samples taken at the beaches by the Health Unit are within acceptable bacteriological water quality standards for bathing beaches.

The Health Unit takes routine water samples every week during the summer from 35 local beaches. For information about water quality, visit www.sdhu.com.
