Youth Photovoice Contest

Youth are challenged to participate in a photography contest that will run from May 5 to June 8, 2012, for their chance to win a Canon Rebel T3 digital SLR camera and accessories. Participants between the ages of 10 and 24 must take and submit photographs showing their community’s strengths and problems related to health issues such as healthy eating, physical activity, substance and alcohol misuse, tobacco, mental health, and injury prevention. An exhibit will be held later this summer to showcase the photos and announce a contest winner. Photo entries will also be posted online for viewing.

The goal of the contest is to influence and mobilize our community to address health issues that impact youth. Be heard and submit your photos to make a difference!
